How do I create, edit or clone an Agent?

Create one from the Create New Agent card on the home screen: pick a type, name it, write or template its instructions, choose its tools, add knowledge files. Edit or clone an existing one from its card.

Create an Agent

1. On the home screen, choose Create New Agent.
2. Pick a type: Social Media Manager, AI Receptionist, General Assistant or AI Visibility Manager (Pro — on Starter it shows with a lock and offers the upgrade). For the Receptionist, choose Email, SMS or Both — choosing Both creates two Agents.
3. Give it a name and, if you like, a profile picture (JPG, PNG or GIF up to 5 MB).
4. Set the creativity slider, write or template its instructions, tick its tools, add conversation starters and drop in any knowledge files.
5. Submit. The form clears straight away; the Agent appears in your list within a couple of minutes.

Instructions and knowledge

Instructions are how the Agent should behave and in what voice. You rarely start blank: Show Template inserts a starter written for the Agent type, and the Agent created at setup already has instructions written from your website. Knowledge files are documents the Agent can draw on — price lists, service descriptions, past posts. On the Edit page they have their own Save, separate from the rest of the form.

Edit an Agent

Choose Edit on the Agent's card. Name, instructions, model, tools and conversation starters save together; knowledge files save from their own section. Changes apply from the next conversation.

Clone an Agent

From the Agent's card menu, Clone makes a copy with the same knowledge files, tools, model and starters. The name is pre-filled as "Copy of …" and the instructions are copied; change those two and submit. A clone is the quickest way to get a second Agent that behaves the same way with a different voice or job.
