How do I set up my first Brand?
Give the Sagelyn assistant your website address. It reads the site, drafts your business profile and brand details, and creates your first Agent — you confirm each step rather than filling in forms from scratch.
A Brand is one business you market: its details, its connected platforms, the Agents that work on it, and its Credits. Setup builds the first one for you in a conversation with the Sagelyn assistant.
Tell it about the business
- After you sign up, the Sagelyn assistant opens and asks about your business.
- Paste your website address — or, if you don't have one, describe the business in a sentence or two.
- Watch the "Researching your website…" card. It shows each page as it reads it.
Confirm the profile
The assistant returns a confirmation card with the business name, city, state, country, industry, services and brand voice it found. Each field is editable in place — click it, fix it, click away and it saves. When it's right, choose "Yes, this looks correct". That creates the Brand.

Next is a short wizard for the things a good post needs: business type and industry, website and phone, service area, what you offer, an optional tagline, your logo and colours, brand voice and audience, and the calls-to-action to use and the words to avoid. Your logo and palette are applied to generated images automatically from then on. Back and Next work at every step, and you can finish it later from the Brand Management tab.
Your first Agent
Pick the first Agent to create: the AI Social Media Manager or the AI Receptionist. Its instructions are written for you from everything the assistant just learned, so it starts out knowing your business. Or choose Configure agents later and do this another day.
What happens next
You land in the app with the Brand selected in the sidebar and your Agent ready to chat. Two things worth doing first: connect the platforms you publish to, and open the Agent and ask it for something — a week of posts is a good first request.
I don't have a website. Can I still set up?
Yes. When the assistant asks, describe the business instead of giving a URL. It builds the profile from what you tell it, and you can refine every field on the confirmation card.
What if the profile it drafts is wrong?
Every field on the confirmation card is editable in place. If it has the wrong business entirely, choose "Something's not right" to run discovery again, or "I'll do it manually" to fill the profile yourself.
Can I skip creating an Agent and do it later?
Yes — choose "Configure agents later" on the Agent step. You land in the app with your Brand set up and can create an Agent whenever you like.
The reading step is taking a while. Can I skip it?
Yes, "Skip — I'll add content later" moves on immediately. The site crawl also continues in the background after your first Agent is created, so skipping costs you nothing.
