How do Credits work?

Credits are a dollar balance on each Brand that its Agents spend when they generate something. Your plan's monthly Credits reset each billing cycle; top-ups are separate and don't reset.

Updated 12 September 2026Plans: Starter, ProRole: Owner sees billing; everyone on the Brand spends from it

Two balances, one Brand

Plan Credits come with your subscription. On each billing date the balance is set back to the plan amount — it does not accumulate, so a quiet month doesn't bank Credits for a busy one.

Top-up Creditsare ones you buy from Credits & Billing. They sit in their own balance and stay until spent, so a top-up is never lost at the end of a cycle.

What spends Credits

  • Generating an image — more at higher quality settings, so a draft at low quality costs a fraction of a final at high.
  • Generating a video, a blog post, or a research report.
  • The conversation itself: every message an Agent answers uses a small amount.

Publishing a post costs a few cents. Scheduling, approving and connecting a platform cost nothing.

Credits belong to the Brand

If you hold several Brands, each has its own balance and its own monthly reset. Everyone with access to a Brand spends from that Brand's Credits.

If a payment fails

The Brand's Agents stop spending — from either balance — until the card is updated, and you get an email with a link to the billing portal. Nothing is deleted and nothing is lost; as soon as the payment goes through, everything resumes.

Questions

Do unused monthly Credits carry over?

No. On each billing date the Brand's plan Credits are set back to the plan amount — $14.99 on Starter, $48.99 on Pro. Anything unspent from the previous month is not added on top. Top-up Credits are different: they stay until spent.

What costs Credits?

Anything an Agent generates — images, videos, blog posts, research, and the conversation itself — plus a few cents each time a post is published. Images cost more at higher quality settings. Connecting a platform costs nothing.

What happens if my payment fails?

The Brand's Agents pause spending Credits — from either balance — until the card is updated. You get an email with a link to fix it, and everything resumes as soon as the payment goes through. Nothing is deleted.

Where do I see my balance?

Credits & Billing in the app, for the Brand you have open. It shows the plan balance, any top-up balance, and this month's usage.
