How do I connect the platforms I publish to?

Connections in the sidebar. Each platform has a card; choose Connect, sign in, approve, pick the page or channel if asked. The card shows Connected when it's done. Google Business Profile, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and WordPress on every plan.

Connect a platform

  1. Open Connections in the sidebar.
  2. On the platform's card, choose Connect. The platform opens in a new window.
  3. Sign in and approve what Sagelyn asks for.
  4. If the account has several pages, channels or locations, pick the one for this Brand.

The card switches to Connected. Posts to that platform are now possible.

Platform by platform

  • Google Business Profile (the Google My Business card) — sign in with the Google account that manages the listing, then pick the location.
  • YouTube — sign in with the Google account, then pick the channel. Videos need a privacy status and the Made for Kids answer before publishing.
  • Facebook — sign in, then choose the Page. Personal profiles and business Pages are offered separately.
  • Instagram — connects through Facebook; needs an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Page you manage.
  • LinkedIn — personal profile or company Page, or both. See Connect LinkedIn.
  • WordPress — sign in to WordPress.com and confirm the site. This is where blogs publish (Pro).

Change or reconnect

To switch a platform to a different account, choose Connect again and sign in with the other one; it replaces the existing connection. When a connection is about to expire, the bell in the header tells you — see Reconnect when a connection expires.

Questions

How do I disconnect a platform?

Connect again and sign in with the account you want instead — the new connection replaces the old one. There's no separate disconnect button for the social platforms. GoHighLevel is the exception; it has a Disconnect.

Instagram won't connect.

Instagram connects through Facebook and needs an Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page you manage. A personal Instagram account can't be connected.

Where's Google Drive?

Not on this page — Drive is for importing files, not publishing. Connect it from the Media Library or from + → Google Drive in chat.

What's the GoHighLevel card with the disabled button?

A placeholder. GoHighLevel as a publishing destination isn't available yet; the card says Coming Soon and does nothing.
